Results

As you can see above, i asked 10 males and 10 females to complete my questionnaire. This was so i could get the opinions on teaser trailers from both genders.



From the results of this question, as most people i asked when between 17 and 21, i will be making the film a certificate 18. This is a good idea as my film may contain explicit contain which may not be suitable for 15 year olds.



From the results of this question, most people would expect the teaser trailer to be 30 seconds to a minute and therefore i will think about this when editing my trailer, to fit the audiences preference.



The result to this question surprised me as i would have thought people would expect to hear music in the trailer. But as the results say otherwise, i will take note of this when deciding on whether to have music in the trailer or not.



The results of this question show that the majority of people would expect to see the lead character in the teaser trailer and so i will incorporate this into my trailer.



The result of this question showed that people don't want all the plotline in the trailer, they just want enough to know what the film is about and whether this film will interest them. So i will think about this when filming and editing my trailer.
